What is 4open?

4open is a truly cloud-based InsureTech tool.
The client / customer and broker accounts are based on a shared database. This means updates are recorded simultaneously for both user groups. The program recognizes from the login credentials whether an administrator, office manager, broker, employee, or customer has logged in. The interface is meaningfully adapted to the respective role. For example, the customer sees an overview of their contracts as the start screen, while the broker sees a list of clients who were most recently active.
4open specifically addresses the needs of both commercial and private customers. The system combines and integrates the following functions:
Digital customer folder:
The customer logs in via your broker website and sees their contracts. They can independently add additional contracts (including external contracts not yet under your management), initiate address or bank account changes, report claims, and much more. This strengthens portfolio retention.
DMS:
Document management system: applications, claims, correspondence, contracts, terms and conditions, photos, etc. — everything is always traceable.
Comparison calculator:
All VERSDIREKT comparison calculators or the integration of external calculators.
Claims management:
with document upload for damage photos, expert reports, cost estimates...
Broker offer system:
enables secure data communication with the customer by uploading offers/documents directly to the customer account
Analyses / Reporting
Thanks to the interface with Microsoft® Power BI, individual analyses can be created very easily. The technical and visual presentation is up to date.
Zapier®
The interface with Zapier connects hundreds of useful programs, apps, email services, and other providers to your customer database.
The customer perceives their own access as a clear advantage. Here we have listed the reasons.
Registration / Login / Requirements
The programs are available exclusively as internet versions / browser versions. Access is provided via login on the website www.versdirekt.com and/or 4open.versicherungssoftware.de. Of course, the login window can also be integrated directly on the broker’s site. For this, the broker as a user needs a homepage (Don’t have a homepage? Click here), company website, or portal.

System requirements
The programs require a computer or tablet (Windows/Linux/Android/MacOS/iOS) with a current internet browser installed. To view documents, the appropriate application is required. For example, a PDF viewer like Adobe Acrobat Reader for PDFs, an image viewer for JPGs, etc. Javascript must be installed/enabled. The main windows can also be viewed on a smartphone (responsive design).
For your security
It depends on whether the program is run on the customer’s server or if our installation (4open.versicherungssoftware.de) is used.
The customer server
The user is responsible for selecting and securing the customer server. The 4open/digital software has been developed so that all currently known attack scenarios on the data—and especially the customer data—are excluded.
Installation “4open.versicherungssoftware.de”
The server is rented from a German provider. You can obtain the TOM (Technical and Organizational Measures) of VERSDIREKT GmbH here: Data Protection / TOM according to § 9 BDSG. The 4open/digital software has been developed so that all currently known attack scenarios on the data—and especially the customer data—are excluded.
